Well Josh & I have been waiting for awhile for us to become parents. The day I thought "ok I could be pregnant" I decided after work to take a few pregnancy tests..yes A FEW...actually I think like 5 or 6.... I remember it being a monday...And when I finally saw the + on the stick(s) I was like wth!
Actually I should start over and explain how the weekend before went....My new bff Katie, who happens to be Joshs bff from high school, and her husband came to visit us from Wisconsin for the weekend. She too had also been trying or shall I say just started trying. We would talk about how to make it happen and personal stuff like that... Its amazing how open we were about each other since I just met her but seriously we are soo alike I feel like we were seperated at birth! seriously.... It creeps Josh out sometimes. =)
Well Katie & Dan (her hubby) came to visit us and we took them downtown (Chicago) for a night out on the town. Granted Josh and I haven't partied it up in along time but we were like "ok this is our chance to entertain some friends and show them we are fun!!" not really but ok... Katie just found out like that thursday before (Katie you can clarify) that she was pregnant.. I was so happy when she called me at work with the news and as soon as I answered her call and she said "OMG, guess what?" i knew it.. ok I was alittle sad for me but sooo happy for her.. Ok back to the weekend..... We went to dinner, hung out, Katie feel alseep on the couch at like 10pm and I had a glass of wine or two... Before she fell alseep she was like take a test I know you're pregnant.. I didnt want to since I seriously took like a million tests in the past months.. Like I seriously could have saved $ and bought a Costco size box of tests! Well didn't take the test, she feel alseep, the guys hung out and they left the next morning and the weekend fun was over...
The next day, still NOTHING, so decided to take a test after work since she called me at work saying ok seriously take a stinkin' test... Got home took like 5 tests and what do you know I WAS PREGNANT!! WOOHOO Finally... Now I clearly remember that day and what Josh was doing.. He was playing video games and I was peeing on stick(s) and when I saw like a bunch of +'s I stormed out waving them in his face and he was like "seriously, seriously we are going to be parents?" And I replied with "yep, omg"...then back to his games................whatelse should I have expected!!
